My Story

Who am I? I am a mom of two teenage boys, a pilot's spouse, a US Army Veteran of 13 years, an Air Force retired spouse of 20 years, a board certified Family Medicine Osteopathic physician who's working on certification for Lifestyle, Obesity and Culinary Medicine. I'm a dog lover who loves to hike, run, cycle, swim, and eat good food. I am also "from away." You might catch an accent when I'm tired. We moved to Maine in 2022 so our kiddos could go to school with their cousins. I am learning to love the winters. 


With 10 years of experience as a primary care physician, I have seen how health treatment can be better. I am excited to be a part of putting "health" back in healthcare.

Over the years, I have struggled with my own weight management. I am not perfect. I decided to pursue this endeavor anyway. Every BODY is different. Let’s all strive to be healthy and happy in the body we have--while pursuing wellness. I am committed to personal change with you. I would love you to encourage me, too.


I understand making lifestyle changes can be challenging. That's why I am using evidence-based processes that will be tailored to your individual needs and preferences. My goal is to make the journey to a healthier you possible with goals we determine together. Let me help you achieve the radiant health you deserve so you can ACT OLD LATER!

The Process

Aegle (prounounced "Ay-gul") is the Greek Goddess of Radiant Health. I believe we radiate health when we treat our bodies well. A healthy lifestyle is the foundation for a happy life. My mission is to help you achieve your health goals through a personalized approach that combines lifestyle change, plant-predominant nutrition, exercise, and medication, if needed. I am dedicated to providing the support and guidance you need to make sustainable lifestyle changes that will improve your overall health and wellbeing.

The process starts with a comprehensive assessment of your health history, current lifestyle, and personal health goals. We will obtain a body composition analysis, vital signs and review screening labs. I can order them or you can bring previous labs within the past year. Based on this assessment, we develop a personalized plan that includes in-person and/or telemedicine consultations developing customized nutrition and exercise goals. I will provide ongoing support and guidance. A major component to healthy eating is cooking at home. I can offer grocery store consultations and meal planning assistance.


My approach is based on the latest scientific research and is designed to help you achieve lasting results. I’m excited to be a part of your journey to better health.
